Early Summer Delights [Through My Lens Nr. 341]

As the summer season is rolling in, first trips to the seaside have been common. I managed to squeeze in two trips to the nearest town during the weekends. The nearest place in Croatia that has a beach is Blace. And what a beach it is. It’s a huge sandy beach and also a place where the river Neretva flows into the Adriatic Sea. The only downside is that there is no shade, so I don’t stay too long. I am constantly putting on sunscreen and trying to find shade. I like sandy beaches because they make entering the sea easier. On the other hand, pebble-stone beaches are cleaner and sand doesn't get everywhere. For now these day trips will have to suffice, until summer vacation rolls around.
