Cadillacquer Valhalla Collection

Hello,

Exciting news! Tomorrow at 10am CET, a new Cadillacquer collection will be released at Hypnotic Polish!

This new collection is called Valhalla and is inspired by Vikings. In the Norse mythology, Valhalla is a place where warriors who  died with honor on the battlefield would go. "Val" means warrior or hero, and "halla" means hall. I had to search for this word on internet because I didn't know what Valhalla meant. So if what I'm saying is not 100% correct, I'm sorry :p 

This collection is made of 10 nail polishes, 10 colors named after Norse gods and goddesses. Madeleine, the creator of Cadillacquer, was also inspired by the TV series Vikings.

The 10 polishes of this collection are a complex yet elegant mixture of shimmer, glitters, holographic particles and gorgeous base colors.

Formula was really easy to work with for all shades, I had no issue whatsoever.

Baldur is a light linear lavender holo, with green shimmer and small green shimmer particles and micro flakies. The green shimmer is quite strong. It's actually a golden green shimmer.

First coat was a bit sheer but it was opaque in 2 coats. Swatches are done with 2 coats.

Bragi is a turquoise crelly, with different sizes of orange metallic glitters. The turquoise base is rather muted and dusty, it leans more blue than green.

I used 2 coats.

I really like this one. It looks gorgeous!

Elli is a red leaning purple holo, with vibrant blue shimmer particles and pink, green & blue glass flakies.

I used 2 coats.

Do I even need to say something? It's just gorgeous! I love the complexity of this one and the base color is beautiful!

Freyja is a cool-toned pink crelly, filled with different sized turquoise holo glitters.

I used 2 coats.

Heimdal is a light grey scattered holo, with all kinds of pink and white flakies.

That's another favorite of mine! I'm going to wear it often :D

The first coat was a bit sheer and it required 3 coats to get perfectly opaque.

Idun is a very light pastel blue, with blue shimmer and dark blue & magenta micro glitters.

I used 2 coats.

Loki is a dark dusty blue crelly, with different sized matte hot orange glitters.

I used 2 coats.

Odin is a dark blue holo, with violet sheen and small pink flakies.

I used 2 coats.

It's such a deep blue!!

Ràn is a light blue holo base, filled with blue shimmer flakies and small blue holo glitters.

I used 3 coats here but I would wear it with 2 coats only. With 2 coats, it's not 100% opaque but it I think it looks more etheral. This is the first polish of this collection I used as a full mani and on my left hand I actually wore it with only 2 coats.

Valhalla is a dusty violet scattered holo, with blue and white flakies and holo glitters.

I used 2 coats.

Totally unique in my stash, that's an absolutely stunning polish!

As with every Cadillacquer collection, I am really impressed by the quality of the polishes. They're all really complex with shimmer, glitters and holographic particles or flakies and look really unique and cool on the nails. They all lay flat on the nails and you don't need extra coats of top coat, even with the shades that contain glitters.

I don't think I'm able to pick out only 1 or 2 favorites because I really like them all. I've already started to wear some of them as full manicure and I can't wait to wear the others :D
